Gunther's Quality Ice Cream is a California Landmark.  Located in Sacramento, California at 2801 Franklin Blvd.  Gunther's was established in 1940 by Herman "Pop" Gunther and his wife Iva.  Today we still use the original recipes that has made Gunther's Quality Ice Cream such a success for over 70 years.  Our recipe Library has grown since then to over 200 flavors.

All of our products are manufactured at our plant location on Franklin blvd.  We manufacture daily to ensure a fresh quality product.  Our product is manufactured on a 10 gallon bath freezer using the highest Quality cream and ingredients available.  The product is churned with a low overrun and frozen immediately at a sub zero temperature.  this process creates a smooth, rich, creamy texture that you will find when tasting our ice cream.

Along with our Premium ice cream we also carry Sherbets, Sorbets, Yogurts, Sugar Free ice cream and our Famous Real Fruit Freeze.
